London is one of the world’s hotspots for holiday. What makes it a favorite among people across the world? Well the answer might be plenty. According to me what make it so popular are the numerous things that one can do in London. It has something to offer to each and every member of the family. It is a complete city, where as cities like Paris, New York, Singapore, etc have very less options of activities that can be enjoyed there.
So, what is there in London to do for its tourists? Well the answer is innumerable range of activities; you think of and it and its there for you. The city has numerous architectural masterpieces, natural parks, lots of shopping options, world class restaurants, and last but not the least theme parks, museums etc. This makes it a romantic honeymoon destination as well as a city where you can party and have fun with friends.
The first thing that comes to your mind when you think of London is its beautiful River Thames. So let’s start with the various things you can do in and around the river. There are lots of water sports that are available in London. From kayaking, speed boat rides, rowing, fishing, etc. If you have fascination for the undersea life, then don’t miss the Sea Life. It is an aquarium near the Thames River. The visitors can experience the underwater life. They can see sharks, tortoise, fishes, etc. The Millennium Bridge and the Millennium Dome on the Thames river is a must see.
The next things to do in London must be to check out its architectural wonders. The London eye, St Paul’s cathedral, Big Ben, and London Bridge etc are a few of the must see monuments. Another architectural wonder in London is the very unique Buckingham Palace, which is open to tourists from August to September. The garden in the palace is exceptionally beautiful and I will definitely recommend it. Apart from this there are many parks and walks in London that can be enjoyed.
Theatre and London have always been inseparable. The tourists can always book a show at the Royal Court Theatre and enjoy a good theatre performance and make their London experience unforgettable. The city has various lavish departmental stores with all the latest local and national brands. The nightlife in London is absolutely rocking. Friday and Saturday a lot of pubs are open all night. You can enjoy a good party with friends. The British Museum is famous all over the world for its collection and display. When in London try to plan a visit to this museum. Another interesting place to visit would be Tate Gallery.
If you are travelling with kids then do enjoy the various theme parks in London. The city has an exotic range of food available. Any cuisine from across the world can be found here. Indian, Chinese, Italian, etc, any cuisine you can think of will be available for you.
