British Visa and Student Visa UK

British visa allows foreigners to migrate to the United Kingdom to work, train, and visit or for business. The following are the types of British visa:

• Visit visa is for those who wish to visit UK for less than 6 months to either visit a family, for holiday or tourism.

• Student visa is for international student who have been accepted on a course of study or for a period of research at an educational department to pursue a full-time course.

• Business visa is for people who wish to set up a business in the UK or continue with a set up business or attend a meeting, conferences, trade fairs or seminars.

• Marriage visa is for partners who wish to settle in the UK with their husband, wife, and civil partner with a British citizen who is settled in the UK. Both partners should be legally married to each other and be willing to live together permanently.

• Tier 1 investor visa is for people making a substantial financial investment in the UK

• Tier 1 entrepreneur is for people investing in the UK by setting up or taking over a business and being involved in running of day to day business.

• Tier 1 post study work visa is for student awarded an acceptable qualification from a UK institution and wants to work for 2 years.

• Tier 2 general is for highly skilled workers with a job offer from a UK employer to fill a gap which cannot be filled within the UK Labour market.

• Ancestry visa is for those who have a grandparent who was born in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Island and wish to live and work in the UK.

• Youth mobility visa is for young people from participating countries who would like to experience life in the UK as they work and travel for 12 months.

• Medical practitioner visa is for nurses and doctor who wish to come to UK to train.

Student visa UK allows international student to travel to the United Kingdom to study. You need to show that you have been accepted on a course of study and that the school or college and the course are accepted under the immigration rules, you intend to leave UK upon completion of studies, proof that you have adequate funds to support yourself without needing help from public funds. Student visa UK allows you to work for 20 hours per week and for unlimited hours per week during holidays.
