Barog
Barog is a beautiful hill station to visit when it comes to celebrating the Indian holidays. It is a beautiful spot named after engineer Barog who had committed suicide for some technical miscalculation. He was the in charge of tunnel construction at that time. It is a beautiful spot for the honeymoon lovers
Dagshai
It is a beautiful hill station and is located at a distance of 11km from Solan. It is an old cantonment. It was found by the east India Company in the year 1847. You will find some difficulty in getting hotels at this place but you have picnic spots and scenic views. There are some spots from where you can see complete lighting of Panchkula and Chandigarh. You can also have opportunity to see Timber train resorts and Parwanoo. If you are a honeymooner, you can get some accommodation because the people of the region respect the tourists.
Mashobra
Mashobra is an important tourist destination and it houses one of the president retreats. The building where the retreat is housed is a structure made of wood. The last governor general of India spent a few days in this place. There is a beautiful picnic spot located 3km from this place. It is named Carignano who was an Italian photographer from the time of Queen Victoria. It has been transformed into weekend resort and you can spend a lovely honeymoon here.
Fauna and Flora of the Region
Mashobra is also a part of catchment area and sanctuary. You have a natural vegetation cover and this includes the cedar, oak and pine. When you talk of wildlife, it is exotic in this region. You have monkeys, baboons and jackals in this region. Apart from that, you have barking deer and jackal. This region is also a hub of bird species and these include chikor, partridge, pheasants and the Himalayan eagle.
Kufri – Himachal Pradesh
Kufri is a beautiful destination for lovers. It is a small place located at a distance of 13 km from Shimla. The name Kufri is derived from kufr which means lake. You can see wildlife zoo here having a rare species. It also has birds like Himalayan monal. Apart from this, you have rare form of felines and antelopes.
You can spend some memorable holidays in India to visit tourist places in India. These spots are good for romance and love. It can be an amazing experience for you to have to stay in these places for pleasure. You can fulfill your dream by coming here with your loved one.
