Jail Management Software- Managing Issues of Prisons
The first juvenile court in the entire world was established in the year of 1899 in Cook County Illinois. Prior to that period children were treated equivalent to adult criminals. If there was an order for imprisonment for them by the court then they would be put in jail with adult men and women and they had to carry out the same sentences as their adult counterparts. Death sentence was even given for petty crimes committed by the small children.
The children who were unruly were sent to private orphanages, work houses and training schools and along with this there was prevalence of involuntary servitude once the children reached adulthood.
