In addition, fats are also essential for increasing bodyweight. But, it is essential to prevent intake of foods rich in saturated fat, because it is not a healthy fat for any body. Instead, eating foods that are rich in monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and omega-3 fatty acids would prove to be beneficial in increasing body weight in a healthy way. And, foods rich in healthy fats are avocados, olive oil, almonds, flax seed oil, and fish.

Nevertheless, supplements are also essential for increasing body weight effectually. However, it is important to choose a supplement that does not induce harmful effects on the body.
