OGTT Diabetes Test – This is the oral glucose tolerance test. In this, a patient is kept on a fast for at least 8 hours after which they are made to have a glucose containing drink. The test is carried out after 2 hours after drinking the glucose beverage. The glucose secretion in the blood is measured in this test.
RPG Test – This is the random plasma glucose test. This test is carried out without the presence of conditions like fasting and consumption of glucose drink beverages.
