6. Exercise: It is recommended 30 - 60 minutes of physical activity a day to stay healthy. Also include weight-bearing exercises at least 2 times a week in your exercise plan. This will help burn some of the unwanted calories.

7. Avoid crash diets: Crash diets always tempt you, but they ultimately lead to rebound weight gain and feelings of failure. Crash diets can weaken people's health. It can't be followed for long, as they cause physical discomfort and it leads to distress when people regain the weight soon after.
