Motorcycle trademark designs are popular symbols of class, wealth and a passion for speed.

But there is more to the colors, images and fonts than meets the eye.

Let’s have a look at some of the famous motorcycle brands and their manufacturer logos:

1. Harley Davidson:

Their brand mark is commonly referred to as the "Bar and Shield" logo. Although it was created in 1910, it is still not confirmed who designed this famous monogram. The letters in the text are all caps but different sizes which gives it a touch of innovation.

2. Kawasaki:

This corporation is named after its owner, Kawasaki Shozo. Although it originally started out as a shipbuilding company, it has now expanded into manufacturing of tractors, industrial plants, trains, motorcycles and aero space equipment. There is a symbol of the letter “K” accompanying the business name that adds personality to the emblem.

3. Ducati:

5. Buell:

This American motorcycle company was founded by Erik Buell, an ex-engineer at Harley-Davidson. Although production of these motorcycles had been discontinued in 2009, their emblem is still one of the smartest designs ever created. The monogram consists of a black colored shield with an image of a horse with wings crafted in silver. The business name is also scripted besides with slanted effects. The image and the text give the impression of speed and movement.

6. Triumph:

This is the largest surviving British motorcycle corporation. Their auto manufacturer logo is a simple design that consists of the business name in thick and straight fonts. The only imaginative touch in the design is creatively drawn letter “R” that stretches to the letter “H”. The dark blue color of the text makes it sophisticated and trustworthy.

In conclusion, these symbols are crafted to depict the true essence of the corporation.
