Some of the tranquil beaches of Kerala are:-

Kovalam Beach: located sixteen kilometres from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam is home of three adjacent crescent beaches separated by rocky outcropping. The Lighthouse beach in the southernmost part is the largest and the most popular beach in Kovalam. The name is derived from the towering lighthouse on the cliff. Climb the steps of the Lighthouse for the panoramic view of the Arabian Sea, Vizhinjam mosque and the country side. The other two beaches are the Hawa beach and the Samundra Beach dominated by the local fishermen.

Alleppey Beach: located in the district of Alleppey the “Venice of East” is a hot tourist spot in Kerala. The beaches in Alleppey offer great water retreats for the visitors. Nature has bestowed Alleppey with lagoons, lakes and fresh water rivers with unending miles of coconut groves. Pay a visit to the Vijaya Beach Park, a picnic spot in Alleppey. You can also view the old lighthouse from the beach. The shiny beaches with heavenly ambience are worth a visit.

Mararikulam Beach: located in the distance of forty kilometres from Kochi, Mararikulam beach is one of the lively beaches of Kerala. The beach is also known by the name of Marina Beach. Swim, surf or parasail on the waters of the Arabian Sea or laze around in the bright sun with a planter’s punch in hand. Other beaches of Kerala are the Bekal Beach, Beypore Beach, Cherai Beach, Fort Koch Beach, Kappad Beach and many more.

Kerala holiday packages are available online through the easy access of the internet. You can opt for a Kerala tour package from anywhere in the world.
