Indian subcontinent is proud to have some of the best natural spots in the world and these are quite good for the honeymoon and the thoughts of the wonderful moments remain in the mind, body and the soul of the individual for the years to come. Come and enjoy the Switzerland of India called Kashmir and the dazzling beauty of the meadows and the snow clad mountains will magnetise the tourist to such an extent that he will consider this place as very suitable in the future for all the events in his life. Kashmir is place named after the sage Kashyap also named as the Kashyap Rishi. It is said that the sage was directed by lord Shiva himself to extract this beautiful valley which was formerly called as Satisar which means there was only water in the place and nothing else. The beautiful valley is famous for a lake called Dal with the wonderful houseboats and the beautiful Shikaras. Kashmir is paradise for the honeymooner and he wants to celebrate these golden moments in the houseboat along with the new wed wife. The interiors of this houseboat are like the star and heritage hotels and there is a complete arrangement of the exotic traditional Kashmiri cuisine is really fantastic. The dam also Kashmiri, the Yakhni and the Rogan Josh are some of the cuisines that become the delight of the tourist.

Kashmir is the paradise for the religious tourist with some of the shrines of historical relevance which include the Dargah Hazratbal, the shrine of Hari Parbat, Kheer Bhavani and the eternal shrine of Amarnath that can be reached via Pehalgham, another wonderful spot of the place. As the great king has said, ‘gar firdaus bar rue zamin ast, hamin asto hamin asto hamin asto’ which means if there is a paradise on the face of the earth, it is here, it is here, it is here. Kashmir is a place of honeymoon importance and one has the chance to go to Gulmarg and Sonmarg. These are also considered as the beautiful places for the skiing, mountaineering and trout fishing. Sonmarg is called the golden valley and is also called the gateway to the wonderful Ladakh valley. The Sindh river flows through Sonmarg and the mountains of eternal splendour are visible here.

Ladakh is a paradise for the tourist with a beauty with a difference. Ladakh is famous for the monasteries, the palace, the stupa and many other places of relevance. The beauty of the place is eternal and this spot has a connection with Manali and the Rotang pass is the means to reach the place. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Mughal gardens in the valley of Kashmir. There are many Mughal gardens and these include the Nishat, the Shalimar, the Hairawan and the famous Chasma Shahi or the royal spring. Visit the beautiful belt of Jammu, the city founded by Jambu Lochan and get the grace of Mata Vaishno Devi of Katra. Jammu and Kashmir tourism takes on a high.
