He was extremely impressed by its scenic beauty, and even wrote a book here named "Valley of Flower".

The reason why the valley obtains such a rich diversified flora is its location at a transition point of Zanskar ranges and Eastern and Western Himalayas. The place houses a wide range of flower species some of them being internationally endangered. Besides this, various enchanting plants are there which have been used for medicinal purpose. Along with that, breathtaking views of cloud-kissing peaks, shimmering rivers & waterfalls and wonderful opportunities for trekking & trailing make it hot favorite among tourists, especially the ones having sense of nature and adventure. The path turns a little tough beyond Ghagharia, but all the troubles are worth taking, as a never-seen beauty is waiting for you just a few km away. There are many small valleys within the valley itself, all of them are flower-laden and worth watching. The last of the valleys near Donagair Garh is tremendously beautiful and leave the visitors speechless.
