India is a colorful country which has been ruled by many different kings and dynasties for centuries. The Lake Palace is situated on an island on Pichola Lake and is a beautiful structure made of white marbles. Jaisalmer - The ‘Golden City’ is famous for the beautiful palaces and exotic Jain Temples, which are very old. It is an important city for India’s Defense Forces as the city is near to the border with Pakistan. Jodhpur - This ‘Fortress City’ lies in the heart of the Thar Desert and has many temples, forts and palaces which are popular with the tourists.
