A beauty that’s hard to depict in words, an edifice where artistry hugs the eternity and a place where love accomplishes divine redemption; Taj Mahal is a living glory that India proudly holds. Nestled on the bank of river Yamuna, this splendid structure leaves its visitors speechless owing to its grandeur of heritage and architectural magnificence. It has been standing solid against many ravages of time, and now has turned immortal with its superiority in every class.

Taj Mahal was designed by a Persian architect Ustad Isha under the ordinance of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. He wanted to enshrine the remains of his wife Mumtaj Mahal in the structure whom he loved more than anything else. Built on a 313 square feet marble platform, Taj Mahal looks stunning with its architectural excellence and aesthetic design. Four marble towers are guarding the main structure that’s offset by four smaller domes. In the basement, where no one is allowed to go, there locates the graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaj now covered by false grave structures ,which are made for visitors. Extraordinary filigree work and outflanking tiny excavations in the marble wall are simply out of the words. The small holes in the wall which had been used to place precious stones now hold the anamnesis.

Taj Mahal in Agra is India’s most visited historical attraction, and now one of Seven Wonders of the World. Annually, thousands of travelers from all over the world visit Agra to see this glorious building, which is nothing but a tender elegy in marble. At the time when sun getting out of sky, Taj gleams like a pink pearl with its marble architecture shining like the associated precious metal. When the sun is at its maximum, Taj starts to sparkle like a diamond, and at the time of sun-set, it becomes a mystery in itself. You will forget everything around you, even to breathe or blink, exploring grace of this wonderful monument during sun-set.
