US student visa is for international student who have received an offer from a United States academic institution. The student should apply at the US embassy or consulate in their home country or country of residence. To be eligible for a US student visa you should have a letter of acceptance by university, knowledge of English language, proof of financial support and proof of non-immigrant intent. When you enter in the United States on a student visa, you will usually be admitted for the duration of your student status or for the duration of your course.

You will need the following documents:

Scores from standardized tests required by the educational institutions such as the TOEFL, SAT and others

L1 is a nonimmigrant visa which enables a US employer to transfer an executive or manager from one of its foreign office to the one of its offices in the United States. This visa also enables a foreign company which does not have an affiliate US office to send an executive or manager to the United States with the purpose of establishing one. The employer must file form 1-129 petition for a nonimmigrant worker on behalf of the employee.

L1 visa has the following requirements:

The applicant must have been employed abroad continuously by the foreign operation for at least one of the prior 3 years.

The employment position for the applicant should require the special knowledge and skills.

The foreign company must remain in operation

L1 visa petition must be filed by the employer

L1 visa holder must work for the company which petitioned the visa

The US and the organization abroad are both actively engaged in doing business

The benefit of an L1 visa holder is that he/she may work legally in the US, may bring the spouse and dependant children who are under 21 years of age. The spouse and children may work and study in the US by obtaining authorization. The holder may travel in and out of United States without restriction. You are limited to working for the related US Company, parent, subsidiary, affiliate or branch that filed the petition on your behalf. If there is any change in employment, the petitioner must notify USCIS to fill for the petition.
