Indian country is surrounded by the endless oceans from three sides. It has long and beautiful coastline. There are many globally renowned beaches located along its shore particularly in southern region of the country. These beautiful and calm seashores are the wonderful options to spend memorizing holidays in India.

Goa, the smallest state in India located alongside the Arabian Sea on western coastline is regarded as the beach capital of the country. There are many popular seashore lined across this state attract honeymooners, adventure seekers and leisure travelers alike. Beaches in Goa are globally acclaimed for their endless celebrations and festive environment. Tourists can enjoy late night parties, carnivals, adventure and water sports and variety of delicious sea food dishes at most of the popular shores of the state. Beaches of the province can be divided into two regions as south and north Goa. North Goa beaches are popular for their energetic environment, trance parties and celebration, whereas South Goa beaches are ideal for mediation, yoga and other leisure activities. Anjuna, Baga, Calangute, Candolim, Dona Paula, Miramar, Palolem and Vagator are the most popular beach holiday spots in Goa.

Besides beaches, Goa is also known for its rich heritage and wildlife collection. There are many important heritage sites related to Portages and Duchess located in its surroundings that attract draw large numbers of visitors consistently. The state is also a biodiversity hotspot. It has rich collection of flora and fauna and offers much to explore to wildlife and nature enthusiasts.

Kerala is one of the most beautiful states in India located at the southern tip of the country. It has many popular beaches to explore. Kovalam, Fort Kochi, Kapad, Alleppey, Varkala, Beypore and Cherai are the most important beach spots of the state. The surroundings of most of these popular shores will offer good quality tourist facilities that make your trip more exciting. Luxury beach resorts, Ayurvedic body parlors, spa therapy centers, restaurants and shopping places are easily available that make these places ideal for long family vacations. Kerala is also a wonderful place for seafood lovers; delicious sea food dishes are easily available at popular sea shores of the state.

Kanyakumarai, located at the most southern tip of the county in Tamil Nadu is also one of the most popular beaches to visit on South India Tourism. It is the confluence point of Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean and regarded at the last land area in Indian province. Due to its unique geographical position the beach offers scenic sunset and sunrise views. There are numerous heritage sites also located in its vicinity also attract many travelers including popular Vivekananda Rock Memorial.

Beach holidays in India are the ideal option for honeymoon couples, leisure vacationers and adventure and nature lovers. If you want to spend some enjoying time at relax beaches, you can plan a trip of some of these places. The wonderful combination of sun, sand and sea will unwind you. It will be an unforgettable experience.
