India is a beautiful country and a home to people of different beliefs and faiths. There are many places that are of religious importance in this country. The Hindus consider the Char Dham yatra as the most important pilgrimage that they can undertake in their lifetime. The popular belief is that this way they can achieve salvation or moksha. The places that are included in the famous Char Dham Yatra are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnth Badrinath. All these places are in the state of Utarakhand in India. A visit to only Kedarnath Badrinath is called Do Dham Yatra. It is of utmost importance to the devotees of Lord Shiva and Vishnu. The pilgrimage of Kedarnath Badrinath starts in the month of April and goes on till November. There are many tour operators who offer both kinds of tours to the interested pilgrims.

Shri Adishankaracharya initiated the Kedarnath Badrinath tour and a visit to these places is said to wash away the sins of the person going there. The trip includes the visit to the temple and also to the two hot springs called Surya Kund and Tapt Kund. It is believed that a bath in these springs would wash away all your sins.
