Garden of Spain- Valencia Region

Valencia region is the most beautiful and extremely fertile region in the Spain and it is known as La Huerta which means Garden of Spain and no doubt, that Valencia is truly the garden of Spain as this region is full of flowers with sunny days and bright lights throughout the year. Many of the Spanish writers and poets have quoted Valencia in their writings to symbolize love and romance because of the natural beauty of this region.

There are 3 provinces in the Valencia Region and these includes Castellon which is located towards the north, Valencia which is located in the middle and Alicante which is situated towards the south. All these three provinces are known as Land of Valencia and they include a long coastal line of about five hundred kilometers with abundance of beautiful beaches and natural sceneries and this makes the Valencia Region of Spain, the most popular place among the holiday makers across the entire Europe.

Castellon:

Castellon is an important province of Spain because of its economical contribution and rich cultural heritage. This city is known as one of the hilliest areas of Spain.

Castellon has the same structure like Valencia as it too has an Old and New towns. The city has many windy and narrow streets with a lot of buildings constructed in Gothic and modernist designs. You can also visit the popular Muses de Belles Arts which has some best fine arts collections. There are a number of beaches along both sides of the port with number of shops and restaurants. You can also visit the famous and beautiful town of Alcossebre in Castellon province.

Valencia:

Valencia City is the capital of Valencia Region and it is the 3rd most populated city of Spain. This city has number of historical places and variety of beaches. The port of the city has its industrial importance and the transport of the city is cheap, clean and easily available for the visitors. There are many beautiful towns along the city like Monte Picayo, Pucol and Alboraya.

Alicante:

This is the last province of the Valencia Region and it is located towards the South of this region along with the popular place called Costa Blanca. Alicante has number of famous tourist resorts including Javea, Altea, Denia, Benidorm and Calpe and all these resorts remain crowded through out the year. No doubt, this is the best choice for holiday makers.
