Char dham is a pilgrimage in India and offers the salvation boons to the individual. The country is known for spirituality and there are many aspirants of divine who want to come to India and have the taste of spirituality by taking the deeps insights of Hinduism. India is one of the hotspots in the world for the purpose of religious tourism and Hinduism is a dominant religion in this country. The international tourist has a great inclination to Kashi, the temples of Sarnath and the wonderful temples of South India. He wants to take the best from the scriptures in the country and gain the spiritual nectar from the rich divine heritage of this country. India is a place of the pilgrimage and one of the famous pilgrimages that the international and domestic tourist prefers is the char dham pilgrimage. Char dham means the 4 sacred places where the divine blessings knock the door of the individual. The principal char dham spots in the north Indian state of India are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These guarantee the individual the complete salvation as per the scriptures and he will definitely think of this journey at least once in the life.

Yamunotri is a chilled belt in the Uttaranchal region and is the origin of the river Yamuna. Yamuna is mentioned in the scriptures and this river is one of the most sacred rivers in Hinduism. This is named after the goddess Yamuna. It is said that the sins in the life of the individual are cleansed in the river. Visit the temple of Yamunotri and be blessed with the image of the goddess. From Yamunotri, one can visit the spot called Gangotri. This is a very sacred place and is the spot of origination of the river Ganges. Ganges is the ancient river mentioned in the scriptures and Mahabharata patriarch, Bheeshma pitamah was the son of goddess Ganga. The scriptures of Hinduism mention the coming of river Ganga from heaven. The river is also called Bhagirathi and was locked in the hair of Lord Shiva before it flowed on the face of the earth. Come and have a holy dip in the Gangotri and be wiped off the sins of all births. Hinduism believes in the multiple births and so we talk of all the births here.

Kedarnath is a very holy place and is the 3rd major spot in the ChardhamYatra. The temple of Kedarnath is located in front of the majestic background of the snow clad Himalayas, also called the abode of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is the destroyer of the evil and is among the most worshipped lords of Hinduism. Shiva is the supreme person and the godhead who lives in the mountain of Kailash, also referred as Kailashpati in the scriptures. The 4th is Badrinath and this is the last spot of the pilgrimage. Lord Vishnu is the presiding deity of Badrinath and this place carries a great importance because without this place, pilgrimage is incomplete.
