La Alpujarra:

This is a perfectly beautiful area in Spain, which is between Sierra Nevada and Costa del Sol. This area is famous for some very interesting customs, which are the mixture of Christian and Moorish traditions. There are many beautiful and amazing villages in this area, including Lanjaron, Orvija, Soportuja, Valor, Capileira, Trevelez and many others. All these villages have their own specialty that attracts number of visitors towards this area.

Costa Tropical:

This area of Spain is known for the perfect romancing resorts, as there are number of sandy beaches along with many bays. The views from the sea and beaches are perfect, as you can see the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which remains roofed by snow throughout the year. This place is also perfect for skiing and swimming.

Some of the beautiful, wide beaches in Costa Tropical include:

1. Salobrena, which has an ancient castle;

2. La Herradura is known for fishing and beautiful site seeing;

3. Almunecar is a village which contains an aqueduct built during Roman era;

4. Torrenueva is the widest and perfectly sandy beach in the area.

There are many other perfect villages and places in Granada, which are worth visiting. Among these places, Pinos Puente is a historical village which has an amazing bridge, built during the Moorish era. This village is located at a distance of sixteen kilometers from Granada.

Illura is another historical place worth a visit in the region, as you will find a royal Church there, which was constructed during the period of King Charles V.

Montefrio is located in the centre of the hilly area and is famous for the wonderful Castle, constructed during the time of Moorish ruler between 15th and 16th century.

Galicia is famous for many great traditions and cultural values of Gaelic and Celtic origins. Giata is among the major musical tools in the area and gastronomy of Galicia is very popular including fish, meat dishes and some mouth- watering sweets.

Alhama is a perfect resort for bathing, with some interesting views of the Sierra Nevada. You will also find some historical monuments in the area, which include Iglesia Mayor Church and baths from Arabian era. The main attraction of this place is the picturesque location as well as the thermal springs.

Loja is the part of Granada province, but it is located near Cordoba Province. This village is built in the traditional style of Andalusia and contains many historical monuments including Muslim Fortress, San Gabriel Church and Alcazaba.

Santa Fe is another historical place to visit, as this area remained as the central area during the time of Catholics, when the Kings reoccupied Granada from the Moorish rulers.
