Torrevieja is a tourist attraction which is located in the South of Spain and if you want to visit the place then you may hire a car either from Murcia airport or Alicante airport. The distance between Torrevieja and Alicante airport is of 40 minutes drive and this airport is the most common destination of the tourists from Northern Europe to Spain. Once you come out of the Alicante airport and ready for the drive to Torrevieja, then you have two options wither to drive through the AP-7 road or through N-323. To drive through the Ap-7 road is more suitable as this a fast track with prominent sign boards to guide the tourists in comparison to N-323 which has small sign boards with limited lights and marks along with road which can confuse the driver easily. But if you drive through N-323 road then you have an advantage of reaching Torrevieja without any detours. If you decide to go through N-323 then you must be careful during night time because of bad lighting and sharp turns and bends.

If your plane land on Murcia airport then your traveling distance is of 30 minutes to Torrevieja and you can easily follow the Ap-7 route to reach the destination. If you want to avoid any detour then you can divert on N-323 from AP-7 which will drive directly to Torrevieja.

Torrevieja is a town with traditional Spanish roadways which are narrow and most of the time these roads are one way. If you want to park your car then there is a car parking on the harbor and then you can take a walking visit to the town. Most of the time, the locals park their cars along the narrow streets but it’s very hard to find a parking space in these streets.

Most of the Spanish love to drive fast and hardly stop their cars so it’s very difficult to settle down with the driver in order to convince him to stop the car. There are few drivers which drive very slowly as well. Torrevieja is a place where most of the Europeans from North have owned their houses, so you will find many North European drivers as well along with the Spanish drivers. Either you hire a Spanish driver or European, the objective is to reach the destination safely. You enjoy your drive through the roads of Torrevieja and have a safe driving.
