These beaches are not the only attractions in the city as you will find many other attractions including golf clubs, orange groves and vineyards with plenty of natural scenery, flowers and beauty all around as this city is the most fertile one in the whole Spain.

You can easily reach to beach of Valencia city from the airport as it is located only at the distance of eight kilometers and it will take you maximum 15 minutes to drive towards the city beach.

Playa de Las Arenas and Playa de La Malvarossa beaches are also located at a distance of 10 minutes drive and these are the famous beaches and if you are residing in the center of the city then it will take you maximum 20 minutes to reach these beaches through bus. Tram service is also available from Pont de Fusta and it will take you ten minutes to reach at Las Arenas beach.

Historical Background of Beaches in Valencia:

There was a popular resort at Playa de Las Arenas beach during the end of 19th and start of 20th century but this resort does not exist today.

The official name of Las Arenas is Playa de Levante but this beach is called by the name of Las Arenas by the local residents.

There was an up-market resort at the beach which is now rehabilitated into a five star luxury hotel called “Balneario de Las Arenas Hotel”. The up-market resort was designed like the Greek temple and was famous as the meeting point of the local middle class residents of Valencia.
