A Note on Ultrasound Transducer Repair
Ultrasound machine makes use of very high frequency sound waves along with their echoes to determine shape, size and depth of human anatomy. This allows detecting the movements and working of the different organs in human body. Here is a list of the key parts of such machines that will help in understanding their mode of functioning which in turn is going to be more than beneficial when it comes to ultrasound repair.
Display- This is by default the most recognizable and commonest of parts that displays the data as visual information after the data has been processed and forwarded by the processors using a suitable software application.
Sensor Probes- The probes are connected to the patient’s body and sound waves are sent into the body through the waves. Sensors are fitted on the body of the probes that catches different information and transfers it to the central processing unit for further analysis and data processing.
Central Processing Unit- It is a computer processor that processes the information gathered from the probes and transfers the collected data to images or series of images to help the technicians or the doctors to take a close look into the affected body parts.
Keyboard- It is used to type information, or make modifications and corrections. It is similar to a computer keyboard.
Hard Drive Storage- This too is quite alike a regular computer hard drive. It allows technicians to store data for future reference.
Printer- Yet another common computer peripheral device, printers is used to get a hard copy of the reports for treatment processes.
Video Recorder- Some of the machines have provisions to record all that is happening inside the body. This class of recorder is used to record movements of the body parts, organs and tissues.
