How to Optimize Windows 7 for Faster Browsing
With the launch of Windows 7 there has been a lot of satisfaction among the Windows user. The not so successful Vista operating system has made Microsoft to work further hard on the new Operating system and they have done really well with the Windows 7. Windows 7 is not only fast but is also allows you to use the computer with much ease and is more user friendly. It is not that there no scope for further improvement there is always some room for the development. Today we will discuss some of them and lets see what else can we do to make sure Windows 7 can be more user friendly.
The first thing that comes to me when I evaluate a operating system is how fast can I access the folder that I need to work on. Well and that is why I like the Windows 7 as it has come up with almost all the important utilities either automatic or are easy to find and if that was not enough you can get the GodMode. GodMode helps you to get all the important utilities at once place starting from uninstalling the program to running the add new hardware wizard all are at one place and it is very easy to create.
However the limit of God Mode is you cannot use it to access the folder and drives you use frequently. There are other ways which will help you customize the computer as per your need and may be that is why the Windows 7 has been called most flexible operating system from Windows so far.
In order to make browsing in the computer more faster you can customize the favorite on the right hand side so that you can access the folder much faster.
In order to add folders to the list al you have to do is drag and drop the folder to the list on the left hand side.
There may be some items in the list by default and you can remove them if you fell like. By default you will have Desktop and recent folders and if you don’t want them you can right click and delete them.
As I mentioned there is always a room for improvement, and thus you may be wondering if you could add your favorite software to the favorite. There is a way to do that, in order to add the software please follow the following steps
Please open the address bar and then put %user profile%Links as the address and then hit the enter key. This will bring up the folder for the link. You can drag and drop the application like Quick book or your favorite Games in the link folder and thus you will be able to get the game in the favorite list.
