Start with this PC REPAIR GUIDE to fix computer start up issues. According to the situation you have to deal with the problem.
1.Got the access of user accounts, but you can't open any programs
Now, you need to trace the responsible program. Just after when you have entered the user-account password press the Shift key and hold it until your desktop and taskbar are visible. Holding down the Shift key stops programs from loading automatically and you can detect the program which is conflicting. Later remove it from the Windows Control Panel.
2.Lucky to get the Windows logo, but unfortunate to do anything else
You turned on the system, got the Windows screen, but before you could get logged in it crashed. There are two possible reasons, first, you may have added a new piece of hardware or software that is not compatible and second, corrupted system file. If the first holds true then remove the culprit product from your machine. Otherwise, move ahead. Try with Known Good Configuration or run the machine in Safe Mode; remove any programs or updates you have recently installed. Then, restart your computer normally.
3.You see "Non-system disk or disk error," or a similar message
Simply means that the machine is unable to find Windows. If you get an error message with the startup it indicates hardware configuration problem. Check the connectivity; try by unplugging and plugging back the monitor cable with the machine. If your computer beeps and displays nothing, your video adapter has probably failed. Go for a replacement. The error message will reveal if the problem is with the keyboard.
4.Error “Windowssystem32nvcpl.dll, Missing entry :nvstartup”
This time it could be due to incompatible security software. Check the status of the installed software, if you find it wrong then, get it uninstalled soon. Sneak into the MSCONFIG.exe and diagnose the “Startup” tab and look for “nvcpl” or any related item with “nv”, uncheck it then click “Apply” and “OK”.
