First take some time and decide the kind of lock that would suit your home the best. Then decide on the money that you wish to spend on the lock. It is always better to go for the quality when it comes to securing your home. That does not mean that the more you pay, the better quality you get. Don’t go by popularity of a system, check which one would suit your home best and buy that.
Keyless locks are not just a keypad in which you type in the combination to unlock the door. There are also keyless locks like sensor locks that scan the palm of your hand or your eye ball. Since no one can have the same hand print, only the person’s hand that the scanner reads can open the door. This is even better than a keypad combination as there are chances for the trespassers to hack in to the combination. But when it comes to scanning, it cannot be done by anyone else.
Though these keyless locks can be a great addition to your home, a security system in place would also be a smart idea. When you have multiple access to your home, these systems would notify you if there are any trespassers or thief who are about to enter your home.
