Especially if you suspect an infestation in any furniture piece, get rid of it before it spreads into your wooden flooring and other furniture pieces.
3. Termites are most common in dead trees and shrubs. Additionally, dig out dig out the roots of any dead trees and dispose them appropriately. If there are any in your outdoor area, trim them to avoid unwanted results. In case you are too late, it is time to call in the pest control experts.
Also remember that termites thrive on wet soil and wood. Make sure that you avoid gathering of water around these areas as much as possible. Rectify all leakages and other problems that are a cause of moisture in your home and outdoor space to make sure you do not breed termites.
