Computer Parts and Accessories, what type of computer do you run?
When it comes to running your computer, there could be many more effective ways you could go about maintaining it. For example, if you use your computer for business, or it is your main source of work, you will want to ensure that it is up to speed, and protected. There is no use running a business online or using your computer for important things, if you aren't going to run it properly, and program it for those needs. If your computer has serious and valuable information on it for you, you should always see that it is security safe, and runs smoothly.
So, how can you maintain your computer, and make it run fast yet safe at the same time. Well, there are a few different ways you can speed up your computer to start with, without spending any money. Firstly, what you want to do is delete all unnecessary files from your computer. You can do this by going to, 'my computer', from your start tab, then right click on the, 'local disk C', and click, 'properties'. Once you have done this you should see a pie chart showing your free and used space. Underneath that there will be a tab saying, 'disk cleanup', if you click that another screen will appear, you need to check all the boxes in that new window, and then click ok. Your computer will prompt you asking if you wish to perform these actions, just hit yes, or ok.
Now all your unwanted files have been deleted. Next go back to the, 'local disk C', then properties and go to, 'tools', you should see a tab saying, 'defragment now', click that, and this could take a while. Your computer will now restore some memory that was deleted from your computer, and allow it to run quicker. You should do this once a week, and your computer will maintain a healthy smooth speed to run at.
If you are still unhappy with the speed your computer is running at, then you will need to look at some other options to solve the issue. One thing you can do is buy more memory or RAM. This will speed up your computer drastically, and make it seem better than new. Often the cause of computers running slowly, is because they are being used in a fashion in which they weren't built for. They can't cope with all the actions a user is commanding them to do, so they go very slowly, and eventually crash after constant usage. So to avoid this problem, and make things a great deal better, you can give your computer more memory, allowing it to be able to take on bigger tasks, and fulfil them easily. This is why you see some people with really old looking computers, but under the shell they have some pretty neat Computer Parts, so their computer is running faster than your brand spanking new one, which can confuse a lot of people.
People who own older computers and upgrade them all the time, understand that they have to be maintained to work and run smoothly.
