Corporate Training for Vocational Training Students
Students in Vocational complete their studies with internships. Thus, they have the opportunity to apply in a real environment all the knowledge acquired during previous courses. This module, called the Workplace Training (FCT) is mandatory at all levels. To do this, students have the support of a teacher-tutor of the school and a tutor of the company. The Working Centre Training (FCT) is a compulsory module for students of Vocational Training (FP), both in the intermediate level, as higher grade. Its peculiarity is that students have the opportunity to apply what they have learned a company during their studies. This means not only knowing the work in a real environment, but may open the door to their insertion in the labor market.
Not establishing a working relationship between the student and the company, but this is limited to sign a cooperation agreement with the study center, but the benefits are undeniable for students. They must perform this step, since it is mandatory to obtain the corresponding degree of FP. For this reason, the activities undertaken must meet certain criteria:

They are responsible for helping students in everything you need to make the most of your stay in the company.
This period has duration of 400 hours for titles adapted to the Organic Law on Education (LOE). Meanwhile, the training courses that have not yet been adapted range between 350 and 700 hours. Each title requires a definite period, but the average training takes 10 to 20 weeks, long enough for a first contact and gives students an idea of the specifics of each task. This time is complete with tutoring at school.
This contact with the workplace is a very important experience for students, since they know firsthand the applicability of the knowledge, strengths and weaknesses and changes or developments in the production system and that may not have collected in the classroom. Even the student's day in the company is always similar or as close as possible to schedule other workers to experience the best fit to a real scenario.
