Vietnam Travel Guide
Vietnam is an amazing country to visit and number one on the must-see list when in Ho Chi Minh City is the magnificent cathedral. Tourists will want to bring their cameras to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Saigon as there are many things to take pictures of there. Tourists will definitely want to snap a photo of the beautiful statue that is located right in front of the cathedral. There are also many ancient relics and items of interest to capture.
The Cu Chi Tunnels are a series of tunnels which were built like an underground city during the local war, which the locals refer to as the American War in Vietnam. The tunnels are located just a few kilometers outside of Ho Chi Minh City. Travellers can actually go into the tunnels and, depending on their height, can actually crawl along the tunnels, sending for themselves the size and confinement.
The best part is that you can do anything there in Phu Quoc Island, from lying down and taking in the sun to engaging in water activities such as water boarding and water skiing. The best time to go there is mid-winter, when the sky is clear and the sea calm. However, bring plenty of sunscreen and sunglasses.
When in the east of the country try to visit the Festival of Hue which is a holiday celebrated in Hue city. Held every 2 years, there will be festivals and performances that honour traditional values and handicrafts. The town comes alive with colourful displays and lively performances.
So this holiday, as like many holidays, has much preparation to it. Although this can provide an interesting and lively atmosphere when travelling it can also create an overcrowded atmosphere and traffic so it would be a good idea to visit Vietnam during other less busy times.
All travellers should plan their next tour adventure and with the help of a well prepared travel guide this should be quick and easy, try a guide for ideas, inspiration and trip samples.
