Tour Packages Cover Ooty with Munnar for a Wonderful Holiday Trip

Ooty is one of the two popular hill stations of Tamilnadu the other being Kodaikanal, whereas there is a third hill station Yercaud, inviting more travelers who plan to have budget travel to a hill station , while the adjacent Kerala offers an entire range of hills, full of vegetation and greenery, and Ooty tour packages sometimes cover all these destinations.

For one wanting to spend holidays at Ooty there are attractive Ooty tour packages offered by travel agents, one of them being Ooty to Munnar tour package for 6 nights and 7 days, covering Coimbatore, Ooty, Coonoor, Munnnar, in which the Ooty tour starts from Coimbatore and ends at Cochin, the tour itinerary of which will be as follows:

•First day of the Ooty tour, the participant is picked up either from Coimbatore or from Mettppalayam, if one is arriving by Train or at Coimbatore if the arrival is by Air, and taken to Ooty by road.

•Second day, the participant group is taken on a conducted tour to visit various spots at Ooty Hills, including visit to Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddbetta peak, Hindustan Photo Film factory, which takes a full day touring.

•Third day, the Ooty tourism party has a drive to Coonoor, Ketti valley view, Welock downs, Lamb’s rock and Dolphin’s nose , which are all wonderful spots to visit.

•Fourth day, the Ooty tourists have a drive to Munnar, which is 189 km away taking about 5 hours ghat section travel, giving thrill and enjoyment the commuting vehicle passing through greenery and forest either side of the road and settling at Munnar.

•Day five, full day local tour at Munnar including a visit to Pothanmedu offering view of plantations, Pallivasl, Naamakad waterfalls, etc

•Day Six, exploring Eravikulam National Park, where one can see Nilgiri Tahr, a rare species of mountain goat and also the tea gardens around

•Seventh day, the Ooty tour group drives to Cochin, a 120 km travel for 4.5 hours, all in mountain roads, and at Cochin after visiting Jewish Synagoge, Chinese fishing nets and the Dutch palace, the tour members go to Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Rail Station to return to their respective destinations.

There are many other number of combinations where the Ooty tourism starting point would be any of the Airports in Southern destinations and the tour is conducted by road for the rest of the time, in such a manner tourists not only from other parts of India, but also from any part of the Globe can enjoy an Ooty tour, for which one can make online booking in any of the Travel agents’ web portals.
