South Tyrol Historic Holidays
South Tyrol is a province found at the very top of Italy in the Dolomite mountain range. It is widely German speaking due to its proximity to the Austrian borders despite its Italian nationality. The two biggest cities in South Tyrol are Bozen and Merano. They are nestled between the mountains as they lie at the bottom of green valleys. Both cities are major ski destinations for Italians and other Europeans. The scenery is spectacular and it is easy to see why the area attracts a large following. You can easily get their by train or car from major cities across Europe. If you are looking for something unique, then this place is where you should come for your next holiday.
If skiing is not your thing, then skip the beach and head to the north of Italy. You can stay at a small pensione and go hiking during the day. Your pictures will look amazing and you will be relaxed without having to worry about seeing all the historic landmarks of a large city. You will love to vacation in this family friendly area that infuses three different cultures due to its unique location and heritage.
