Dubai Little Understanding
Dubai is one a wonder of our modern times and a thrilling place to visit. There are enough events in Dubai to keep even the hard to please travelers busy and having fun. Below are few things, which are known for quality and enjoyment.
Dubai is fame for its quality restaurant servicing and has many 5-star restaurants. There are no Michelin Star restaurants because there is not yet a Michelin guide for Dubai. However, there are many Michelin Star chefs that work in the city's restaurants. For example, the Indego restaurant at Grosvenor House Dubai has a Michelin Star winning chef in the kitchen. When you want a break from fine dining, you can grab a milkshake from Millions of Milkshakes. These are only two of the many great eateries and it is always fun to discover your own favorite eating spots.
Dubai at night is visually spectacular, the city lights up the dark. It also has many venues for evening entertainment, one of which could likely become a favorite place. There is a BBC radio 1 DJ who sets the stage for a good dance party, or the world famous 'We Love Space' Ibiza venue at the Trilology where the dance floor literally vibrates with music and movement.
Dubai weather is most pleasant during the winter months and the biggest festivals take place during this time.
January
The festivals here in Dubai are always popular and a big draw but one of the most popular festivals of the year is the Dubai Shopping Festival where there are always bargains galore. This is a month long festival in January where more than two million visitors enjoy the shops, children's entertainment, concerts, and more. Here you can shop until you drop and then relax in a café or watch a beautiful fireworks show at night.
February to March
In February and March, the Dubai International Jazz Festival is held at the Dubai Media City and is enjoyed for its great music and friendly down-to-earth atmosphere.
March to April
These months bring the Emirates World Series-Dubai World Cup, which is the richest horse race in the world. Top prize is 6 million dollars in U.S. currency and features the best of the best.
April to May
A Bride Show in April attracts hundreds of people looking for the perfect dress and accessories at the Exhibition Center and May offers the Festival of Taste, which is a must for lovers of fine food.
Each month brings festival after festival. A Dubai city map is attainable at most places and an essential thing to have if you want to get around easily and experience the adventure of the beautiful city of Dubai.
