What is Gold Mining
In simple term, Gold Mining is gathering gold from the ground. Historically speaking there is no clue as to when gold mining first started. However, during the Bronze period we observe that there were gold ornaments. Romans used to hydraulically extract gold from alluvial deposits. They considered it to be primary medium of exchange.
There are various techniques of mining. The simplest form is the placer mining. For this method, you can obtain a wide shallow pan from the Gold mining Supplier. Scoop up gravels and sand, which you think might contain gold. You have to dip the pan in water and keep on shaking so that the unwanted particles slips down the pan into water and the gold remains in the pan. This is the crudest and easiest techniques of all but very apt for an individual who wants to do gold prospecting. This process is also adopted before taking up gold mining as a commercial venture.
Another process of gold mining is sluicing. A sluice box is readily available device which can be bought from gold mining supplies. The sluice box contains man made channels with riffles at the bottom. The box is placed in the stream and the gold gets suspended in riffles. This is the crude form of the commercial mining where screeners are used to separate other materials from gold. The commercial operations include earth moving equipments, excavators, bull dozers etc.
The role of the gold mining supplies is to the maximum when commercial mining is involved. Dredging is a very old process of gold mining. This is a suction process and used by small scale miners and gradually being replaced by modern methods.
