We use tape in our everyday life to stick things together or even for different crafting purposes. There are many different forms of tapes available in the market and each one is used for different purpose. Double sided tape is designed to hold two light weight surfaces together. A form of pressure sensitive tape that has both the surfaces coated with adhesive for binding it is used to stick objects like arts and craft paper and cardboard. One benefit of this tape is that it cannot be separated easily when stuck together between two surfaces unlike normal adhesive tape.

You can conveniently use it for various crafts and school projects; due to its invisible feature, it makes the product look more neat and tidy. This tape can even be used for dresses to keep them from slipping down for temporary purpose. It can be peeled off easily and do not leave back any residue marks like other tapes. You can even use these tapes to stick your favorite posters on walls or cabinet doors. A thin layer of material is laid onto either side of the tape and in order to use it you simply need to peel back both sides of the adhesive covering.

In order to prevent the adhesive from coming in contact with other objects the surfaces are covered with silicone paper to keep the adhesive in place until used. Available in different sizes and colors this tape being invisible the color of the tape cannot be noticed. These tapes also find use in name plates, wire and cable clips, splicing of paper and the printing industry. Easy to use their adhesive is long lasting and do not lose its stickiness. These tapes can even be thin or dimensional and can be purchased online or from craft stores.

Different types of double sided tapes are available in the market and you need to choose one as per your requirement.
