Brussels Airport Facilities
Many new parents travel with their babies and toddlers, which is why Brussels Airport offers facilities that cater to the needs of parents and their children. For small children, there are changing areas provided throughout the terminal. There are also locations where parents may heat up food for babies. These can be found in many of the airport’s restaurants, including Wingtips, Milestone, the Brussels Cafe and Brussels Plaza. If you are travelling with a child under the age of two, you may be able to obtain a special seat on the flight, so be sure to check with your airline.
When travelling with a baby, parents can be assured that the airport has considered the needs of parents who need to care for and feed their infants. For example, in the ladies toilets, there are areas for mothers to change babies and all restaurants have means for heating baby bottles. In addition, staff in the airport are on hand to help with any have special requirements you may have regarding the care of your children.
Children who are unaccompanied and are under the age of five will not be allowed to travel. Any child over that age can be dropped off as an unaccompanied minor. The child should be taken to the departure hall and from then on, he or she will be kept under the supervision of airport personnel at all times.
Visiting Brussels should be exciting and your experience at the airport should be enjoyable. Either before arriving at your luxurious Brussels Airport hotel or after leaving at the end of your stay, you will be ready to take advantage of all the facilities that the airport has to offer.
