The diesel variant gives high performance and great fuel efficiency with quick acceleration. The diesel engine produces 90PS at 4000 rpm and the maximum torque produced is 200 Nm at 1750 – 3000 rpm.

The Tata Indica is a perfect diesel hatchback and is now equipped with a powerful engine and comes with stylish exteriors and interiors. The car is best for Indian roads and is sturdy and strong to last Indian rough roads. The new Indica produces 71 PS at 4500 rpm and the maximum torque produced is 135 Nm at 3500 rpm by 1405 cc and has a 475 IDI Turbo intercool diesel engine. The car produces great mileage and gives around 13.6 kmpl in the city and the highways will give around 17.2 kmpl.
The colors available in the Tata Indica are Cavern grey, Mint White, Amazon Blue, Arctic Silver, Arizona Ochre, Carbon Black and Salsa Red. It comes with four spoke steering wheels and has a utility tray, spot lamps and internally adjustable outer rear view mirror. The Tata Indica prices are based on the variants and the starting price is Rs. 3, 47,732 approximately.
