The terms wheel, alloy wheel, and rim are sometimes interchangeable as they all refer to the metal part of an automobile that holds the tire. However, there are specific distinctions between them. The wheel is the entire cylindrical component that holds the tire, while the rim is the "flat" edge. On the other hand, an alloy wheel is made of a metal alloy, which is primarily composed of aluminum and magnesium.

There are two types of wheels: one that is made of separate components forged together, and another that is forged from a single metal alloy. Alloy wheels may be casted; this means the molten metal is poured into a mold and left to cool into the finished product. Some alloy wheels are forged–the metal is molten only slightly, so it is soft enough to mold.

Net forged steel alloy wheels are forged wheels molded to have elaborate spokes. The spokes serve as a wire mesh that makes up the wheel trim. These spokes function as a decorative hubcap. Net forged steel alloys have hubcaps forged with the rest of the wheel.

Some forged wheels are made with carbon fiber steel, which is actually carbon fiber composites. This is an extremely hard and sturdy material that is considerably resistant to scratches and wear and tear. Carbon fiber steel alloy wheels are forged with cold working–the metal is forged when it is just about to melt.

Some Kahn Range Rover wheels are made of aluminum or magnesium. Magnesium (Mg) is an earth metal appears like a shiny gray solid material. Magnesium wheels look like steel because they are not quite as shiny as silver or aluminum. However, magnesium wheels are significantly stronger and less corrosive because they do not contain iron.

Aluminum (Al) is sometimes confused with silver (Ag); however, the former is a lot stronger than the latter. Additionally, aluminum alloy wheels are sometimes considered superior to steel alloys because, unlike steel, aluminum is non-corrosive. Like magnesium Kahn Range Rover wheels, aluminum alloy wheels do not corrode or develop rust like steel.

Kahn Range Rover wheels come in many different shapes and designs. However, these serve more than just aesthetic purposes; they are highly functional too. As an example, the materials of the wheels and their finish are built to withstand friction and water.
