Thailand, a Southeast Asian nation, is like a classically-bound history book that uncovers its readers a very long and magnificent past of Thai kingdom. This interesting city is nestled among the rolling foothills of Himalaya Mountains, and could be accessed by a river journey or an elephant ride until 1920s. Sukhothai Historic Park is the major attraction for history-lovers. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it covers an area about 25 square miles filled with glorious temples, ruins and monuments.
