Meet Cricket!
Much has been written about the cricket game - nature and its origins or how to play and where. But for the uninitiated in the art game - which looks somewhat outside - the cricket remains an enigma and can often seem boring, unattractive, a game that needlessly prolongs the time for no apparent purpose.
In contrast, for most of which concern the 'inside', cricket is a great game with lots of qualities and characteristics that can hardly be found together in a single sport. Above all the cricket is fun!
Overall, in addition to classic sports skills that you develop your cricket players, it favors the emergence of skills 'intangibles' such as:
- Fostering team spirit and the 'fair-play'
- Formative players
- Need for a strategic and tactical thinking
- Ability to guess the intentions of opposing player
- Discipline - no objections reflected acceptance decisions made by the referee
Another aspect of cricket is that, compared to other sports, had one of the most accelerated rates of evolution in the world, adapting continuously to 'claims' manifested by a global audience, in a permanent change. Although the cricket has seen a constant evolution, charm is that it not lost any moment its essence - namely the idea of 'fair play'. This concept is so often associated with the cricket, that the English adopted the phrase 'This is not cricket' meaning 'is not fair to' when situations or circumstances appear biased.
As a result of the process of evolution, cricket has become extremely complex in structure and form. It is led by a set of laws (not rules) which are rigorously monitored by accredited institutions - the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in England. There are so clearly defined rules that regulate the precise changes which occur when playing different versions of the cricket game - which can last from a 3 hours match (Twenty20) to one with duration of 5 days (Test). There is even a form that fits especially beginners - Kwik Cricket - complex and lacking in principle for those who experience the sport first, providing them with flying colors needed dose of fun!
