It looks to be promising with new added features which will enhance the development process. But there is always a difference between the features before release and afterwards, so for the time being we are only left with the current ongoing versions to choose from the list.

The past versions which made their mark are in the order as 2005, 2008 and 2010. These versions are used worldwide by the coders for creating the environment for their development process. They are available on the company’s site for a paid license, which are in addition to the free express version. Although many say that there is no major difference between the free version and the paid version but there are lots of features which are crucial and missing in the former. For a coder, the biggest headache is to keep on typing the same damn variable again and again which is even mistaken sometimes. However, in this you will just start typing the letters of the variable and it will start suggesting you. After that you have to just press enter to finish writing the name.

So, now for the serious developers out there you have got this Visual Studio 2010 at your hands. It has the most commendable features to finish the job but if you are a novice then you might want to stick to the earlier version because you wouldn’t be using them anyways. An average developer can benefit the most from 2008 version of the tool for providing quality software development services. If you are planning to get it for the first time then it will be advisable to go for the latest version, but if you are already with the 2008 then it is for the better that you stick to it for the time being.
