The Biblical Truth is the Strong Pillar in the Life of a True Christian
What makes a true Christian? This is a question that might generate various answers from followers of the faith. But there has been one general belief and that is the entire life of a true Christian is bounded by faith, faith that stems out of the teachings in the Holy bible. The biblical truth is what can keep them on the path to righteousness and help them overcome the barriers that pose a hindrance in the path of their services to God. Many are of the opinion that the Christian truth is the actual "pillar and support of the truth" which also helps in preserving the purity of the truth as well as defending and upholding them. (1 Tim, 3:15). The Christian congregation plays a crucial role in upholding the Christian Truth. A lot rests on the shoulder of those in the congregation entrusted with oversight for upholding the truth of the scriptures. It is a staunch belief among the true Christians that the correct use of the God’s word gives them the courage not to spread false teaching and putting down instruction "for those favorably disposed; as perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth"
Biblical truth has always been the pathfinder for many who has strayed away from a life of contentment. As in the writings of the James, the disciple: "who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show out of his fine conduct the works with meekness that belongs to wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth".
Believers of the Christian truth realize that that the only way to seek true understanding is through the medium of prayer to God: "Give me understanding, and I shall keep your law; indeed I shall observe it with my whole heart. The righteousness of your testimonies is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live." (Ps 119:34, 144) This is what the correct Christian motive is. The Apostle prayed for the Colossian Christians that they might be "filled with knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding in order to walk worthily of the Lord." (Col 1:9-10)
Among many Christians, the purity of the congregation matters a lot. According to them, if the congregation has to be the "pillar of strength", then they themselves have to manifest the truth in their lives. Their base should be fine conduct. This was emphasized by Apostle Paul. In his writings he mentions, "Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." (1 Cor. 5:7-8)
The existence of God is very closely related to the biblical truth. It is thought that the common mass will be moved to an understanding heart. By this it refers to giving up of bad habits, sticking to right motivation so that one can move straight ahead in their life towards a better future ahead.
The Christian truth is very closely related with the existence of Jesus and his invitation to the common mass to be a part of Him. As in the words of Jesus himself, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." (Matt 16:24). True Christians thus uphold this belief that Jesus was God’s chosen one who had sacrificed himself for the good of the people. They are of the opinion that Jesus has been resurrected and He was the one with the power to make the enemies bow down and vindicate God’s name (Matt 20:28). The holy Bible, the truth of the scripture is to every true hearted Christian the Word of God. It is the ultimate truth that can bring mankind back to peace and help to teach and discipline the common people.
