Renting a Limo? Ask Questions First
Asking questions is the key to making sure you get exactly what you want. This is true in any situation, but it is especially true if you are considering renting a limo from a limo company. You probably have an idea of what you are looking for in terms of a luxurious ride, but you want to make sure that the limo company is on the same page. Here is a list of basic questions you should always ask any rental company you are thinking of renting a limo from.
1. Is there a party bus available instead of renting several limos? If you want all members of your party in the same vehicle, be sure the company you go with has a party bus available for rent. This will provide your party with enough room to be comfortable the entire evening.
2. What make and model is the limousine you will be renting? This is important because there have been many instances of people not getting the limo they think they are getting. Either the limo is not the model the customer desired or it’s much older than what was advertised. If at all possible, inspect the actual car you will be renting before you sign a contract.
3. Is there a television, telephone, DVD player etc. in the limousine? Make a list of features you absolutely must have in the limo you rent. Be sure to ask whether or not the limo you will be renting has those specific features. Otherwise, you will be greatly disappointed on the day of your event.
4. Is the champagne free in the limo? Some companies provide free champagne and others charge for it. If you are expecting free champagne, be sure to ask whether or not it is provided. If it’s not, ask how much it will cost.
5. If you smoke, ask if smoking is allowed in the limo. Most companies do not allow smoking in the vehicles anymore, but there might be some companies out there that do. If this is a critical consideration, you will want to keep shopping around until you find one that does.
Unless you ask these questions and others when you go to book your limousine, you are not going to know for sure what you will get until it rolls up into your driveway. Do not be caught flat-footed. Ask all the questions it takes to ensure you are satisfied with your rental and you will be sure to enjoy your night on the town.
