Do you want to become a super fast web browser?
The Internet is abundantly used for business use as well as personal use. The Internet is a vast ocean of information and it is the main reason why people immensely use the Internet. But even though the people have been using the Internet for a long time, many do not know the tricks for fast web browsing. If you are unaware of the quick web browsing tricks then the whole Internet surfing experience will be demanding. You will waste most of your time simply searching for the content on the Internet before you reach your final goal.
It was the same case with my friend. One day she was working on some online project and was browsing the Internet for information related to her topic. She was typically slow in her browsing and I told her that she should increase her Internet browsing speed. She exclaimed that her comcast internet was absolutely super fast with an amazing Internet speed of nearly 15 Mbps. Many people confuse themselves over the Internet speed and browsing speed. Having a really high speed Internet is necessary. But a fast Internet will increase the speed of your Internet, the downloading and uploading speed.
To make the best use of your high speed Internet connection you should speed up the way you search for information on the net. You should know how to possibly narrow down your search, filter the information and locate the information you are searching on the Internet. When I say browsing speed I mean the way you use the Internet. By learning a few web browsing shortcuts, you can become an efficient Internet surfer. Here are some tricks that will enable you to become a fast web browser.
USE TABS: You are on a webpage and you want to open a new website. What do you usually do? Open a new window! Then you will be wasting your time switching between many windows and this can be extremely frustrating. When you want to open a new website open it in a new tab instead of a new window. This will simplify your search. You will be able to easily locate the site you are searching for.
KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS: Many brilliant computer geeks will already know the keyboard shortcuts. If you do not know it, then make it a point to learn it right away. When you are using the mouse extensively along with the keyboard, then you will be wasting a lot of time in moving your hands. By learning the keyboard shortcuts, you can use both your hands on keyboard during web browsing. Some keyboard shortcuts are Ctrl + B, Ctrl + F, Alt + D and Cmd + T.
BOOKMARK: You will be constantly using certain sites over and again. Every time you want to open the website, you will be typing the web site address or searching for the URL. This is a mere waste of time. You can bookmark the frequently visited web pages so that the next time, you will be able to easily access it. One best way of bookmarking is by using a unique keyword that you can remember.
SEARCH USING KEYWORD: Filter your search by using Keyword instead of typing long sentences or phrases in your web browser.
CACHE AND HISTORY: The websites and pages you have visited earlier will be temporarily stored in your cache. So you can go and review your history if you want to visit the web site you had visited earlier.
Each person will be having their own style of surfing the web and it is difficult to adopt some other person’s way of surfing. But if you learn the quick methods then you will start enjoying using your Internet. You will be able to save a lot of your time. You will be able to increase your speed and very soon you too will become an efficient web browser.
