An architect is a person that designs, plans and constructs a building or a home. Architects are responsible for public safety so it’s significant for them to proceed through professional training along with an internship course. After the architects complete their internship programme they get a license to practice architecture. You can find several stages a construction has to go through; an architect plays a crucial role beginning from designing to finishing your building. The initial stages of construction are when most of the insights are extracted from them and they are needed before the final design is ready.

The architects not only design a building but additionally handle government formalities and paper work. One of the most essential part while construction is getting a building permit. An architect makes sure that they have a building permit before beginning any construction.

A building permit it not just needed for a new construction but also required when you are renovating your property or demolishing a building. Undertaking any construction contract without a building permit is an offence and will result in several penalties.

The architect submits a layout of the construction to the building commission. The Building commission then reviews the layout, the structure and after checking all the technicalities, issues a building permit.

An architect or contractor may start with the construction immediately after acquiring a building permit.

It is imperative that the job of an architect or a contractor is monitored. Here comes the role of a construction advisory. The motive of construction advisory is usually to minimise the risk because of poor performance of architects or contractors. The construction advisories ensure that the architects are performing in accordance with what has been committed to the client and they abide the policies and regulations. The construction advisory provides services like on sight inspection, contract valuation and project completion.

To sum it up, it's the sole responsibility of any architect to make sure that health and safety on location is kept to a high standard.
