How canvas prints are made
Canvas prints are an amazing way to show off your photos in and around your house. The canvas print in its self is a very unique type of gift and can been seen in many people homes along with them being found in offices and hotels and galleries. Canvas printing is made up of very quality materials and the whole process of putting a canvas photo print together is more about an art technique and having the ability to be able to see a work of art before its finished or printed.
The canvas print is made available through out all over the world from high street stores to small shops and of course the biggest one would be online through the likes of canvas photo printing shops and professional photography stores. There is different types of canvas that you can get with a canvas photo print and one of them would be either to have the canvas at a thick gsm which would be something like 450gsm appose to having canvas that is only 100gsm. The best type would be something in the middle, something like 250gsm canvas so that the canvas isn’t too bulky and doesn’t take the effect away from having a photo printed on canvas. That would be the thickness of the canvas but t=you can also get a few different types of canvas for different effects, the first one would be the 100% cotton canvas. This sort of look is very popular and gives a very heavy arty look to whatever sort of image is printed to it thus being weather you have a photo printed or a design or even if your an artist and you have your art printed onto canvas this may be one of the best for you if you are an artist. There other most popular canvas would be the matt Polly cotton canvas, this give a clean and professional finish and is more popular with the photo on canvas but of course if you’re looking for a very modern look with your artwork then you can still go with this option to, so basically you have a different texture type of canvas, you have a different thickness of canvas and also you can have a different finish for example you can have a matt finish or you can get canvas that has a very glossy finish to, there are others out there to which different canvas printing websites will offer.
Lastly id the frame that the canvas print is stretched over, if the canvas printer is using just a normally piece of pine wooden frame then you might want to ask them for stretcher bars frames as this will per long the stretch on the canvas giving it room to breathe through its bevelled edges. Not only this but the stretcher bars are the better option because they always come precision cut so that each frame will be the correct size and shape ready for framing a canvas over. If you get these ingredients right then you’re on course for getting a really good looking canvas print.
