Rusted corten screens

Rusted corten screens are a form of divider that you can use in your property landscaping and interior design in order to separate aspects of your garden and to make a more striking design. Usually these corten screens will have holes in which might create a pattern, but which primarily serve the role of allowing light to pass through so that you can see into the other part of the garden somewhat. This then creates a less 'closed in' feel to your garden or the areas you want to separate than does using a fence or wall, while at the same time still giving you the privacy and security. Of course a wooden fence with small holes in would be very easy to bypass, but the rusted corten will remain sturdy and not allow anything to pass through. On the other hand your other option might be to use brick or a metal fence. In either case this can risk looking very harsh and being quite unattractive and even ominous which is why using corten is much better to achieve the same security in a more friendly and aesthetically pleasing way. That and it is also easy to install and relatively inexpensive. They are also easy to maintain and as they are going for an 'old' and rusted look this means that any dirt or deterioration won't show at all.

Rusted corten screens are also attractive in their own right. The rusted look of course gives them a kind of aged quality and makes them feel like they've been in your garden for a very long time. If you like your garden to feel almost antique, then these can help do that for you. At the same time the rusted corten is a great bronze color that perfectly contrasts the greens of the grass and the other bright colors around the garden. They also match perfectly with the other colored materials that might be used in a garden layout – for instance the browns of any wood and the similar shades of brick and tile.

If you want to make the most of your corten screens then there are many ways you can integrate them into your garden. You can use these as simply an alternative to a fence as mentioned, or you can use them to section your garden off into more interesting sections without blocking the light from travelling around the garden. They also make great shades and can be used for instance to protect a set of chairs, or even just their own centrepieces and something that can look great placed in the middle of the garden.

Another thing that makes these so good for use in your garden and design is the fact that so many other aspects of a garden use this 'copper' rustic look. There are many great rusted looking sculptures you can buy for gardens for instance and if you have these included then you will be able to match them with your corten dividers.
