Easy steps of making Artificial Bear-Rug:-
• Separate your teddy bear by ripping out the threads that are visible at the line of stitching.
• Remember that you are not destroying the hide but simply removing the inside stuff so that the bear lies flatly on the floor. The materials seen on the front of the teddy bear should be cut or severed off.
• Take a clear pattern paper and place the teddy bear flatly on it and observe that it appears like bear rug.
• Now draw the outline of the bear leaving the head and fudge them a bit, correct the infections if any. After this, the cut the head of the bear and leave two inches behind the tips of the bears head and enlarge them from all the sides.
• Pin all the fur, felt material and the patterns altogether by following the pattern made, trace the outline of the bear onto the material of the fur.
• Cut them properly so that you get the pattern of two different bears of which one is made from the felt and another from the fur.
• Stick the felt into the artificial fur and allow them to dry completely.
• Further, stitch the entire glued material by three to four inches outer and inside edge of the material so that they get merged.
• Now you can stick the head of the teddy bear into the rug you have made and then after drying sew them accurately. Strengthen the seam from both the sides so that the attachment is done properly. The claws of the bear can also be sewed in the same manner into the feet of the Artificial Bear-Rug.
