There are three main component of soil. Growth of plant is depends upon these which are as follow:-

Right soil composition: - Soil is mixture of clay, silt, sand. Best composition of these three is 38% of clay 21% of silt and 41% of silt. If quantity of clay is high than it is called heavy soil and problem of this soil is that in dry weather it tends to crack.

Right soil pH: - 6.0 to 7.0 pH is good for growth for all type of plants. Soil less than 7pH is acidic and more that 7pH is alkaline.

Right water content: - Plant and vegetable need at least one inch of water and best way to use drip water system.
