Cute Koala Species of Bears
Phascolarctos cinereus is a scientific name for koala Bear and is an arboreal marsupial and has similarities of a wombat. Right after they deliver their young, Koala Bears usually place their young inside their pouch exactly like wombats and kangaroos. The term of the young is Joey and they keep their young inside their pouch for up to 6 months and with this the length of their offspring usually measures for only a quarter of an inch.
When their offspring is still inside the mother's pouch, they're blind, without fur and no ears. Senses will develop right after six months and up until that time, they should drink their mother's milk to live. After six months, the offspring will take her journey outside her mother's pouch but will remains on her side and sometimes rides on her back until she will be a year old.
Fascinatingly, koala Species Of Bears can only be seen in Australia. Their diet consists only of eucalyptus leaves and is considered to be an herbivore. They have digestive systems that are slow and for this reason they move slow as well. They like to sleep and sometimes they only sleep for 19 hours per day and the other five hours will give them enough time to gather foods and eat.
Koala Species Of Bears have fingerprints but doesn't look much from our human fingerprints. Unlike other bears, they live in groups and usually socialize. They are territorial type of bear and that additionally they form bonds and relationship with other communities as well. They have their tree and have boundaries as well but this boundaries may overlap with other boundaries plus they live harmoniously with each other. They usually mark their own tree by their scent and spends time communicating with their neighbors. The mother koala and their offspring communicate by a humming or a clicking sound. When they make a high piercing type of yell this usually signals other koalas that they are in distress and warn them that a danger is coming.
Diet of a koala Bears usually consists only eucalyptus tree. When the eucalyptus forest was harvested, their species where threatened to become extinct. Almost 80% in the whole forest was harvested and that none of the area was protected by the government. In reality, the lands that occupied by the eucalyptus forest is privately owned that's the reason government can't do anything about the destruction of trees. Reasons why koala Bears are extinct is due to deforestation, harvesting of koala bears and forest fires as well.
