Teach Your Child to Carry a Handkerchief While Going to School
Embarrassment is what my son has taught me. It was a fine day until my son came back from school with an irritated face. I asked him if anybody has said anything to him. He directly blamed me of why I did not teach him that handkerchief is an essential thing when students go to schools. I again asked him what has happened exactly. Well, my son was having severe cough and cold at that time. After a tough argument he said that the boy who sits next to him made fun of him when he was coughing and mistakingly sprinkled a bit of cough on the other boy’s bag. The entire class made fun of him and he felt highly embarrassed to be in that situation. The incident taught me a lesson. From the next day I made it sure that I never forget to give a handkerchief to my son when he goes to school.
Cleanliness is one of the essential ways that shows that we are civilized. We keep ourselves clean to prevent ourselves from many diseases. We should teach our children to live in a healthy society and keep our surroundings clean. We should always remember that cleanliness is the key of maintaining a good health practice and we must sustain this not just on our body but also on our surroundings areas as well. It is the best health practice to protect your family from the germs. It is the prime duty of the parents to teach the children the habit of cleanliness at an early age of their life. Each individual should develop the habit of cleanliness and it also becomes helpful for the parents when their children learn cleanliness during their early years. Parents should make it strict for their children to use handkerchief while coughing because coughing openly can spread virus to others who are sitting by the already infected child.
A handkerchief is also famously called as a handkercher or hanky. It is a type of a kerchief, normally a fold square of thin fabric that can be easily carried in the pocket or purse, and which is mainly carried for personal hygiene purposes like wiping one's hands or face, or blowing one's nose. A handkerchief is also many a times used as a purely decorative fashion accessory in the pocket of suit. Therefore, parents never forget to teach your children to make a use of handkerchief throughout their life. It also reflects how hygienic a person could be.
